NE.SENSE | Kid Cudi wore a dress on 'SNL' in a tribute to Kurt Cobain

近期在網路上熱烈迴響著 #KidCudi 身穿 Virgil Abloh 所主導的 #OffWhite 碎花連衣裙,登上 SNL 《Saturday Night Live》舞台上表演,卻是向 #Nirvana 樂團主唱 Kurt Cobain 致敬!

不用說音樂圈被這位殿堂神人 Kurt Cobain 最具影響,甚至就連眾多饒舌歌手也不例外,包括 Kanye West、lil peep 及 Kid Cudi 等,都把他當作神一樣膜拜,除了在音樂領域上作為許多創作人靈感,也進而影響到時尚圈的走向。 4 月 5 日為已故 #KurtCobain 離世 27 年的日子,Kid Cudi 模仿 Cobain 經典 Grunge Style 的造型作為演出服。先是穿著灰綠羊毛開襟衫 ; 接著又著上 Virgil Abloh 設計的 Off-White 印花裙演唱,致敬 #GrungeStyle 的象徵。

此外,Kurt Cobain 不僅影響了整個非主流音樂的地位,也進而讓穿著造型上化有 Grunge 風格。像是 1993年春夏時裝周,Marc Jacobs 為 Perry Ellis 打造了一個「Grunge Collection」及 2013 年 Hedi Slimane也在 Saint Laurent 的伸展台上獻出一次對「Grunge Rock」系列。亦因此種種形象的再造,追念著逝去的傳奇,讓世人追隨 Grunge Style 穿著。例如:破爛牛仔褲、格紋襯衫、厚重平底靴、羊毛衫、針織毛衣與格紋、印花、針織毛帽、卡通圖案 T-shirt 等,塑造出反叛氣息最令人難以忘懷。

由於,名利與成功卻讓 Cobain 陷入自己價值觀的矛盾,他曾屏棄潮流,他通常從二手店挖寶,也從老婆 Courtney Love,甚至經理 Janet Billig 隨手借件舊洋裝穿上,表示 anti fashion 意味 ; 家庭的破碎與不堪其擾的病痛,讓他長久積蓄著憂鬱與憤怒,也是他的心境帶來極大的反骨心態,亦因為這樣,生前將「#洋裝」視為其日常再自然不過的單品,但他更希望用音樂為世界帶來更多影響力。

最後,因 Kid Cudi 模仿 Cobain 穿上高端品牌訂製服裝,與初衷有著很大的落差,而他在網路上也聲明,單純出於致敬,還宣布即將與該品牌和 #VirgilAbloh 合作。
